I am excited to partner up with my wife, Emily, on this new adventure: Raise Them Well. As an Integrative Medicine Physician I am able to help people become healthier and feel better by addressing the underlying root causes of disease and dysfunction. This is something that I have spent most of my adult life studying and practicing. This has been incredibly rewarding and has helped my practice thrive. While, I love what I do, being a doctor is only part of my life. I want to use Raise Them Well as a platform to reach more people and give them insight into raising healthy families and marriages not only from a medical standpoint but also from a religious and parenting aspect.
You may think that I get my identity from being a doctor, but the truth is my identity comes from being a follower of Christ. I believe that the key to raising kids and having a strong marriage is revealed to us through scripture in the bible. If both parents are on the same page and follow God’s plan for raising kids and respecting one another, life is so fruitful and enjoyable. But trying to go through life without any true direction or compass is a recipe for heartache and stress.
As a husband, I am disheartened to see all of the broken marriages out there. I believe that a lot of that blame can be attributed to the fall of the man as the spiritual leader of the house. I am not talking about a tyrannical leader but a servant leader. God commands us : “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.” I want to help strengthen marriages through this ministry.
I also want to take off the doctor hat and put on the dad hat once in a while. I love spending time with my son and love being “daddy”. I pray that I am raising Adler to be a healthy, confident young man. I want to share with you what I have learned about being a dad, the struggles that we face as being a provider for the family, and open up about the unique challenges there are when trying to do it all.
Of course, I am also going to give you my two cents about how to raise healthy kids from a medical standpoint. Unfortunately our environment and food is really damaging the health of the next generation. It is sad to think that the kids that are born now will likely have shorter lifespans then their parents. There is something wrong about that but the good news is we are learning more and more about how to raise healthy kids from Day 1 and I’ll be providing you with cutting edge information as we go along.
I am also disappointed in so many kids’ products and food that is currently available. Something else you might not now about me but I am really an inventor at heart. I love to come up with innovative products that not only improve health but make life easier for mom and dad. With this brand, we hope to provide you with products that live up to my strict requirements that are easy to use and of the highest quality.
That’s it for now. Talk soon.
